THE STORY BEHIND ROLAND PINE: You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, our designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to our studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on our Roland Pine packaging. The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and we decided we wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named our pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!

We love this soap… how well it lathers, the incredible scent that makes you feel like you're showering in a forest, how gentle it is on your skin.the fragrance is so clean and crisp that I keep extra bars in my husbands clothing drawers to impart a subtle scent… we've been using it for years.
I’ve been buying this soap for years…it’s a wonderful light scent. My husband is very particular about scent and when he first used this soap he said it was like taking a shower in a pine forest and the scent was very light on the skin.
