Spotlight: Elizabeth Grubaugh - The Making of our Limited Edition NYC Candle

Shannon and Lisa wanted a new bag for the Holiday Markets in NYC, so they reached out to their friend Elizabeth Grubaugh. As many of you many know, Elizabeth has worked with Soap & Paper Factory for years. Her designs, created by hand, are absolutely stunning and bring a breath of fresh air to the market place. Her use of color is soothing to the soul, and her iconic Pine Cone literally defines Roland Pine. 

Each Gouache painting was done by hand, so the feeling of the design is organic, and close to our hearts. The colors chosen are so specific, and we really had a great time figuring out what to ask Elizabeth to paint... reflecting on our love for New York City. Each time we would meet, it was so exciting to see which iconic building or place Elizabeth had painted during the week, and when the design itself came together it was incredible.  

We are thrilled to launch this fresh, new design!
