ABOUT OUR CANDLES: We use cotton wicks and pure soy wax to make our candles because of their clean burning qualities. Every batch of candles is tested for wick optimization, cool and hot fragrance throw & burn times. We make our candles in small batches, and the craftsmanship and quality are unsurpassed. All of our products are made in the USA. This single-wick soy candle burns clean and bright for up to 65 hours and measures 3 1/2" (h) X 3 3/16".

THE STORY BEHIND SUN KISSED: Many moons ago, we collaborated with Anthropologie to create our Farmacie Collection. This collection was desinged by Shannon, and was made up of Lavender Clary Sage, Red Rose Saffron & Marigold Calendula. The collection was much loved, particularly the Marigold Calendula. When we were creating our core line a few years ago, we decided we wanted to “reinvent" the Marigold Calendula and we did just that. We talked with Elizabeth about creating a new look, and using bright bold colors, she created what is now Sun Kissed!

BEST PRACTICES: When you burn your soy candle for the first time, it is important to burn for about 4 hours. That is how much time it will take for the wax to melt and pool all the way to the edge of the glass. Blow out your candle. Before burning again, allow wax to cool. Before each lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4" before lighting to ensure even burning. The reason you trim the wick is so that the flame won’t be too high or hot, and your candle will burn slower, giving you many hours of burn time. If the wick is too tall and hot, your wax will melt very fast and is prone to tunnel. Always burn candles for 3-4 hours at a time for best results. Light and burn on a level surface and allow wax to burn and pool before extinguishing. Do not leave candle lit and unattended.

I'm disappointed with this one. It smells nice in the jar but barely has any scent when burned.

Hello Becca, Sorry to hear of your experience. Sun Kissed is definitely a more delicate fragrance, but you should be getting plenty of throw with our candle. I am a devoted customer for life!

I am the BIGGEST fan of these candles. Every scent I have purchased I have absolutely loved, even when I have tried scents I didn’t think I would like. The scent throw is phenomenal, even when they aren’t burning. My candle didn’t arrive the first time (yay postal service) and they shipped a new one out within 12 hours of me having emailing them (and I emailed them late at night!). I am obsessed with this company, and will never go to another candle place again! Give me more!

Sun Kissed Large Soy Candle

This is my absolute favorite of your summer candle smells. Not too strong at all. Light and breezy. My only slight complaint is that there is a bit of tunneling with the candle, which I cured with the tin foil trick. Aside from that ... a lovely candle. Will order this again.
