THE STORY BEHIND ROLAND PINE: You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, our designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to our studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on our Roland Pine packaging. The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and we decided we wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named our pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!

Love this soap

The Roland Pine Shea Butter Soap is our house bath soap. We all love the fresh pine scent and the smooth luxurious feel from the shea butter. We’ve been using it for years and I stock up a few times a year. I keep the unopened bars in my husbands clothing drawers to impart a hint of fresh forest to his clothes. I’ve also gifted this soap and its become a favorite for some of my friends.

Great outdoorsy smell

The soap does a great job of cleaning but most of all it smells so great. Plan on buying numerous bars to have out and around just for the smell.
